Newborn + Maternity + Boudoir

My centrally located 90 year old Queenslander, in the heart of Mackay is the perfect backdrop for minimalistic, vintage style newborn portraits. My approach to newborn photography is timeless and natural with a focus on family connections as well as capturing all the tiny details of your precious new baby.

As I have children of my own and my studio is in my home, I run these sessions during school hours only. Typically the best time of day for indoor portraits is between 10am and 1pm when the room is flooded with natural light.

  • Use of baby client closet, wraps, swaddles and accessories for Bub

Milestone portraits

Children’s birthday portrait mini sessions either in my studio or outdoors at sunset.

I treasure being able to mark my own children’s birthdays with simple, individual portraits and I want to offer this service to others. These sessions are for the child only and do not include other family members.

  • 30 minute session

  • 2 outfits/set ups

  • Use of simple props including mock cake, dried flowers or greenery, milk bath set up if requested

  • Styling advice

  • 20 images edited and delivered via an online gallery in both colour and black & white copies in high and low resolutions

Elopements

Let me capture your intimate love story. Whether you choose to elope in your backyard, on a mountain top or in an exotic location, photographing small and intimate elopements is something I am passionate about.

The cake gets eaten, the flowers die but the photos will last a lifetime! I strive to capture all the love, emotions and details of your big day that you have spent months if not years planning out. As a romantic at heart with a nostalgic soul, I totally understand how important it is to capture the big and small moments, the posed, the candid, the tears, the laughter, the flowers, the dancing and of course all your special guests who have come to celebrate your commitment to one another. I am always investing in education to improve my craft so that I can tell your unique love story in a way that is authentic, timeless and beautiful.
